Beautiful Bristol: Colourful Bristol Doors

November 10, 2016

If any of you follow me on Instagram you’ll know that I kind of have a thing for pretty, painted, or colourful doors. I don’t know what it is but they always make me smile and take a picture. It may have started when I went travelling and took countless photos or the ornate and beautiful doors I saw in Indian palaces and Thai temples. Bristol is certainly a colourful city, with street art and painted facades around every corner. To see some of the colourful houses in my fav neighbourhoods check out this old post.

Bristol’s doors are no exception and they’re a regular feature on my Instagram page. Here’s some of my favourites.

Aren’t the last two so festive? I may have to check them out in a few weeks to see what wreaths they have.

If pretty doors are kinda your thing then there’s a fab Instagram account bristoldoors dedicated to showcasing the pretty doors of this pretty city. They even have their own blog which gives you a peek at some of the cool independent businesses that reside behind the doors.

Speaking of peeking behind doors, my living room tour will be coming soon!

Love, Sarah x
