Bits & Pieces: Sneak peeks of my home
As I’ve mentioned a few times I recently moved out of my girly Georgian townhouse flat and in with my boyfriend, whilst a tour of that new flat is imminent (I promise) whilst I finish up tours of my old flat I thought I’d show you some sneak peeks of my current digs – taken from my Instagram. I can’t wait to show you it properly soon!
This is my favourite corner of the home and I have a bit of an addiction to taking photos of it. We have our sound system set up on top of the sideboard (as well as a mini jungle) and a picnic hamper underneath stores our vinyl collection.
I can’t resist £1 daffodil bouquets in Spring.
Whilst this may seem a bit too crowded for some this little vignette of house plants and candles makes me smile, and the wine bottle we kept purely because it has a picture of a spaceman on it.
This is how that set up looks now, as you can see our monstera is really growing.
We have a mini bookcase in a small nook in our living room, I have taken over one shelf with my colourful books and we’re still deciding how best to arrange the rest of the shelves.
I so missed having a bath in my old flat, so candlelit baths with all my products are a fairly regular occurrence now.
My plant stand came with me to this house and it houses another mini jungle and yet more candles. On the wall behind it we’ve got a small gallery wall of colourful prints. This wall it between our window and french doors so a bit of a challenge to photograph.
How cute is this guy? He’s a recent treat from Urban Outfitters and that adorable little pot makes me smile, he’s currently sitting pretty on top of our plant stand. Oh and that candle, by the way, smells incredible!
And here’s a sneak peek of a recent project, Lewin helped me refurb an old bike. We took her apart completely, gave her a good clean, I repainted her in pastel unicorn hues and then we reassembled her replacing the chain, brake and gear cables. I can’t wait to show you more pics of that process.
