Gift Guide: House Plant Lover

November 16, 2018

It’s time for another gift guide (don’t forget for more inspiration you can find the others here) this one is for all you house plant lovers, green-fingered or not. My house plant addiction is pretty well documented so I’ve really enjoyed putting this guide together. There’s something for everyone from boho macrame plant hangers to luxe brass planters.

I haven’t included any live plants in this guide as I’m sure you all have your own favourite local sources for those, however, I have ordered house plants from Etsy before and always been really pleased with the quality of them.

Anthropologie Kinska Melena Face Pot | Anthropologie llama pot | Macrame plant hanger | Terrarium | Gold Planter | Brass terrarium | Brass spritzer | Mid Century plant stand | Brass planters | Anthropologie copper watering can

If you love cute, unusual and personality-filled plant pots then it’s always worth keeping an eye on Anthropologie, they often have cute ceramic collections from artists as well as quirky pieces that look great as a set or on their own.

I’m a big lover of terrariums and use them for a variety of things. On top of being a beautiful home for your smaller house plants, they also look great filled with copper fairy lights or as a candle holder.

When it comes to taking care of your house plants watering cans and spritzers are essentials, but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. These beautiful copper and brass ones are so pretty you can keep them on display next to your plant babies and they’ll just add to the boho decor vibe.

I personally think that a way to make the ‘urban jungle‘ interiors trend work is by having a variety of planters and ways of displaying your plants. This is where wall planters and macrame pots that hang from the ceiling look great, macrame screams boho and is a great way to introduce more natural textures to your home. Those mid-century plant stands are something I’ve had my eye on for a while, I like the extra height they add and the way the legs add an element of interest to otherwise simple pant pots.

Do you have any must-have accessories for your house plant gardens? Let me know in the comments. 🙂

Love, Sarah x
