Gift Guide: Mermaid & Unicorn Lover

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Wow has the year flown by?! The Christmas countdown is officially on and the gift guides are coming out thick and fast. Generally, when it comes to my Christmas shopping, I do everything online. I tend to do this at all times of the year where the shops are a bit crazy, like Thanksgiving and Black Friday as well. This is because I dread being in the shops when they are too busy. I’d much rather sit in the comfort of my own home, taking my time to check for the best deals (using sites like https://www.rankandstyle.com/top-10-list/best-best-black-friday-clothing-fashion-deals) and browsing and purchasing at my own pleasure. So with that in mind, and Christmas only just around the corner, I thought I’d add my twopence in with a gift guide featuring products from one of my fave online shopping sites… Etsy!

I love the huge array of products you can get, and as someone who’s into crafts I really enjoy being able to support small independent craftspeople. Throughout the years I’ve bought so many items from Etsy sellers and I’m always so impressed with their service and the quality of the products. I love the little touches that go into the packaging and wrapping – which is something you just don’t get on the high street anymore.

I’m at the age where my family and I often just exchange lists of what we would like each year, which removes the element of surprise. Luckily, my friends and I love to surprise each other. My girl gang call ourselves The Mermaids because we bonded over a love of The Little Mermaid and all things glittery and under the sea. Each year we do a secret Santa between us and gather at one of our houses just before Christmas to drink mulled wine, eat a lot of cheese and exchange presents. It’s one of my favourite holiday traditions and is usually the last time I see them before heading home for the holidays.

So, with my lovely mermaids in mind I thought I’d create a gift guide suitable for any mermaid lover/unicorn fan or daydream believers you may have in your life. Think pastel, marble and of course all the ombre!
