New Chapter in New Zealand

New Chapter in New Zealand

May 20, 2019

Apologies for the long overdue update. I’ve recently safely arrived in New Zealand. I’m currently spending a couple of days exploring Auckland until I head to Wellington which I hope will become my home for most of my time in this beautiful country.

I realise I’ve been absent for most of my travels. That wasn’t my intention at all. But you know what? Life took over. I was enjoying being present in the moment, making the most of the wonderful opportunities I was presented with and living my three months in South East Asia to the absolute max. Three months which, truth be told, went by in a blink of an eye. So I’m sorry that the posts have been non-existent recently, however, this does mean that I have a shed load of travel content (yes I hate myself for calling it that too  ?‍♀️) that I’ll be sharing going forward. I’m also planning to talk about my new life in New Zealand and the realities of setting up a home on the other side of the world.

Don’t worry if you’re not into travel blogs, that’s not the only direction Yellow Feather is going to take. I’m back to reality now, seriously, I just had to apply for a tax code eurgh. So the usual mix of lifestyle, design and decor posts will be appearing. Plus I’ll have a new room to decorate pretty soon! Once I get a flat that is.

In the meantime please forgive me if my posting schedule is a little sporadic, I’m still finding my feet (as well as a good wifi connection – harder to come by here than you would think) but add your email to the box in the sidebar if you want to follow the blog and get an email every time there’s a new post. Or if you’re interested in how I’m getting on currently in NZ then why not give me a follow on the Gram?

Love, Sarah x
