Bits & Pieces: 11 ways to add a touch of spring to your home decor

March 16, 2016

I think it’s official, Spring has sprung! Although there are still a few cold days in my neck of the woods and the ever present threat of the ‘white Easter’ keeps being banded about, I think the fact the daffodils are out in force means I can safely say that Spring is in the air so that means time for some Spring home decor.

And I couldn’t be happier. Spring to me means starting new projects, organising my house, sorting my wardrobe and adding Spring touches to my home decor. I’ve been thinking of getting something like a sunroom shed and can’t help but get excited at the prospect of decorating it. As you saw in my Autumn post I love adding seasonal touches to keep my space feeling fresh. There’s plenty of decor and accessories that you can find online to get your home looking seasonal. I love having a browse online at all the different touches I could add to my home; Lulu and Georgia has particularly beautiful and high-end furniture to get your home looking stylish.

Here are some items I’m currently loving for adding a Spring vibe to your abode. I have a couple of these and as you can tell I’m all about a yellow and blue colour palette to bring a touch of zesty spring freshness into the home.

H&M patterned cushion cover : Can you tell I have a thing for yellow? After the dark winter months its the perfect hue to inject some happiness into the home.
Orla Kiely Sicilian lemon scented candle : I have this candle and it smells divine! There’s nothing like a citrus scent to freshen up the home.
